Every now and then we need some hope and encouragement to help us stay strong. Life is tough, so we thought we’d share some Bible verses for strength: mentally, emotionally and spiritually. If you love the Proverbs and Psalms, you’ll find many Bible verses for strength and encouragement.
Proverbs 3:8 tells us:
“It will be healing to your body
And refreshment to your bones.”
Well that’s a little cryptic. How do we get that healing and refreshment? The previous versus reveal the secret:
3. Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart.
5. Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.
6. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
7. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
Being kind and honest makes us strong? Hell yes! Trusting the Lord always makes us stronger. The less we give in to evil and temptation it only makes sense we’ll have more strength for doing right and keeping our conscience clean. Kindness is strength, thus saith the Lord. Moving on to the next Bible verses for strength… we stick with Proverbs…
